3/4 way through the Miki Dora biography, what a great book. A highly recommended read to all Tube Farmers.
Read the Bunker Spreckels bio last week, another good one.
You couldn't invent characters like these. Seems to me that all the colour and life has been squeezed out of surfing in the last couple of decades.... but thats another story.

Hey Wheaty, does he mention me? It'll be in the section on mellow Basque days and ultra long slides at Grande Guethary....I'm the stupid grom with the freckles who talked some alien form of English and who didn't manage to catch his board when it came bouncing past me over the reef heading for the shorebreak! Shows even Da Kat can fall off!
