Here is another prime example of why not to add Pop music(beach boys) and hot chicks in movies(Gidget). The end result was of course Crowds. Yes the good old days with the equipment choices but some sources say that it was more crowded back in the mid 60's.

I think Malibu was just as crowded, it was THE spot to head to. Must have been chaos in the water, 30lb logs flying everywhere.
Bu crowded? You should see Cayton bay on any given sunny Sunday!
I don't believe it, there was no one there mid February.
