mk1 spitfire
Had its maiden flight today in onshore shoulder high surf. Tricky waves with low tide suck outs, reforms and double ups. Board felt great though! Lots of fun.

Lets Rumble
Woke up last night to the UKs biggest earthquake in 25 years! 5.2 on the Richter scale. Biggest one in England for 250 years.
Started as a faint rumble then the bed started moving from side to side, things rattling in my room. I sat up and felt the walls and the whole house moving.
Strange thing is I was back home in 2002 and exactly the same thing happened. I seem to always be home for quakes. Then on the way back I stopped in Bali and was woken by one there too. Odd stuff.

Ye Olde Kernow Road Trip
Well just got back from 5 fabulous days in sunny Cornwall with Jojo. We had an ball down there meeting up with DC and his lovely girlfriend Anna.
Waves were superb every day, the 10 degree water made it nice and refreshing.
Good food, great beer (Tribute - sneaks up on you a bit), nice company, beautiful scenery - what more do you need?
